From the humble beginnings of the world’s first pizzeria in Naples, pizzerias have grown to a worldwide phenomenon.
A pizzeria is a restaurant wherein pizzas are made and sold hot from the oven. It’s famously called a pizza parlor in the United States.
The Antica Pizzeria Port’Alba is the world’s first pizzeria established in the 1830 in Naples, Italy. In the United States, the first pizzeria was first opened by the Italian immigrant, Gennaro Lombardi.
